IIZI Platform

The IIZI platform consists of the development tool iiziGo Designer used to build the apps and the iiziServer to run the built apps. Both iiziGo and iiziServer requires 64-bit operating systems.

Note: if you install iiziGo using the Eclipse Marketplace (below), your Eclipse installation must be running Java version 25 LTS or better as the minimum requirements for IIZI is Java 25. The upcoming Eclipse 2026-09 (in September 2026) version will run on Java 25 LTS by default.

• iiziGo is available for Windows, Linux and macOS and requires a 64-bit Java Development Kit version 25 LTS or better. This means that only 64-bit operating systems are supported. We provide the IIZI platform as a complete iiziGo Designer setup containing Eclipse IDE for Java 2026-09 M1 (4.41) plus a complete OpenJDK version 25.0.3 using Hotspot (OpenJDK from Adoptium, or Eclipse Temurin - JustJ).
   
  • Windows
    There are two installation methods available for Windows 10, 11 or better:
    1. Setup for iiziGo using Microsoft Installer. There is an installer or .msi-file for Windows Intel/AMD and one for Windows ARM64.
    2. On Eclipse Marketplace: just drag the Install icon to your running Eclipse instance, must run Java 25 LTS or better.
     
  • Linux 64-bit
    Two installation methods are available for Linux x86_64 (Intel/AMD 64-bit) or Aarch64 (or ARM 64-bit).
    1. Archives (.tar.gz files) for iiziGo: one for x86_64 and one for Aarch64.
    2. On Eclipse Marketplace: just drag the Install icon to your running Eclipse instance, must run Java 25 LTS or better.
     
  • macOS
    Two installation methods are available for macOS Tahoe, Sequoia, Sonoma, Ventura, or Monterey:
    1. Disk images (.dmg files) installations for the iiziGo app. There is one disk image for Intel and one for Apple Silicon.
    2. On Eclipse Marketplace: just drag the Install icon to your running Eclipse instance, must run Java 25 LTS or better.
   
• iiziServer is available for any platform supporting Java Development Kit 25 or better, e.g. Linux, macOS, Windows, IBM i or Mainframe zOS.
  The JDK must be of version 25 LTS (or better) in a 64-bit architecture.

Eclipse P2 Repository

Open the P2 repository if you wish to add iiziGo to an existing Eclipse installation. The Eclipse version must be version 4.29 "2023-09" or better, in 64 bit running OpenJDK 25 LTS or better.

Follow these instructions to install iiziGo Designer into your running Eclipse instance.
