  • Method Details

    • getVSTableReferenceOwnerData

      VSReferenceOwnerData<VSTable, VSTableReference> getVSTableReferenceOwnerData()
Gets the table reference owner data for the table column reference.
      Returns:
      The VSReferenceOwnerData instance, always non-null.
    • getVSTable

Gets the VSTable for a VSTableColumnReference instance.
      Parameters:
ref - The reference instance, null when property-editing the reference in the Designer.
      Returns:
The table for the reference, or null if not found.
    • onVSTableColumnResolved

default void onVSTableColumnResolved(VSTableColumnReference ref, VSColumnHeader column)
Called when a column reference of this owner has been resolved to a column header.

The default does nothing. An owner that computed anything from the column's index before the reference resolved - a content container whose items are built from the table's columns - overrides it and recomputes: the resolution of a column reference can come after the owner first read it, e.g. in the Designer, where the references of a loaded model resolve on a job thread while the container updates its items on the display thread.

      Parameters:
      ref - The reference instance.
column - The column header the reference now points to.
    • onVSTableColumnBroken

default void onVSTableColumnBroken(VSTableColumnReference ref, VSColumnHeader column)
Called when a column reference of this owner has been broken, i.e. unresolved.

The default does nothing; see onVSTableColumnResolved(VSTableColumnReference, VSColumnHeader).

      Parameters:
      ref - The reference instance.
column - The column header the reference pointed to.
